Scent & Sip
A sensory tasting
Part of the 2026 Great Southern Treasures Bloom Festival
Wine, flowers and a spring afternoon for the senses
Scent & Sip brings together the beauty of a garden in full bloom and the expressive wines of the Great Southern.
Hosted by wine communicator and garden host Tracey Whooley, guests are invited to take their place at a beautifully set long table among the flowers.
Over 2.5 relaxed hours, the experience explores the relationship between scent, taste and memory through fresh blooms, herbs, citrus blossom and a carefully selected tasting of eight Great Southern wines.
As the tasting unfolds, the aromas found in the garden begin to reveal themselves in the glass, offering a deeper understanding of how we experience wine, flavour, texture and structure.
Garden-inspired nibbles accompany the tasting, and each guest will create a seasonal bouquet to take home.
Set among the spring colour and soft afternoon light of Whooley Hill, Scent & Sip is a thoughtful and memorable celebration of wine, flowers and place.
