What if, for one night, time could be tasted?
200 Years & Beyond of Food & Wine in the Great Southern is an immersive evening that travels through the history of the region using food, wine, storytelling and imagery.
Set at Camp Quaranup on the shores of King George Sound, the evening moves through seven distinct eras, beginning long before 1826 and continuing through to the Great Southern of today.
Each chapter of the night explores a different period in the region’s story, from First Nations connection to Country and the arrival of early ships, through settlement, hardship, innovation, changing food traditions and the growth of the modern Great Southern wine industry.
Guests will experience each era through dishes inspired by the time, paired with carefully selected wines from the Great Southern. Historical imagery, regional stories and atmosphere will help bring each period to life as the evening unfolds.
This is not simply a wine dinner. It is a journey through the people, landscapes and moments that have shaped the Great Southern.

The evening will conclude in the present day, celebrating the region’s food, wine and producers — and looking toward what comes next.

Together, the event celebrates the history, diversity and character of the region through an evening designed to connect guests with the food, wine and stories that have shaped the Great Southern.
