The Great Southern Table is a hosted wine experience shaped around connection… where wine is explored together, discussed openly, and enjoyed around the table.

Gather around the table for a privately hosted exploration of eight Great Southern wines, accompanied by a generous regional grazing selection.

Building on the Discovery Experience, the Tasting Table offers greater depth, contrast and connection to the varieties, producers and places that shape the Great Southern. Through relaxed conversation, sensory challenges and practical food-pairing discussion, guests are encouraged to compare impressions, trust their palates and discover the stories behind each wine, all in the comfit of your own home or accommodation.

Your hosted experience includes:

  • guided exploration of eight wines

  • a beautiful selection of regional cheeses, artisan charcuterie, breads, condiments and seasonal accompaniments to be shared

  • premium glassware, spittoons, tasting notes and tasting materials

  • sensory and tasting activities, a guided blind-tasting challenge

  • A wine aroma identification activity

  • Personalised recommendations based on each guest’s palate

  • A “wine of the evening” group vote

  • Tips for confidently choosing, serving and pairing wine

  • complete setup and pack-down

No previous wine knowledge is required—just curiosity and a willingness to explore.

Wine Pack Purchased Separately

Wine is not included in the hosted experience fee. A curated Great Southern Tasting Table Wine Pack, consisting of eight wines must be purchased separately through the Great Southern Sip online store. Priced at $270.00

Your confirmation email will include a direct link to purchase your wine pack. Once ordered, it will be delivered to the experience location before your tasting, ready for you to enjoy on the day—and the remaining wines are yours to keep afterwards.

Please provide final guest numbers, the experience address and any dietary requirements or allergies before the event. All guests consuming wine must be aged 18 or over.

Great Southern Sip members receive preferred pricing on hosted tasting experiences. The booking host will also receive an appreciation credit following the experience, based on the final group size.

Host Appreciation Credit

As a gesture of appreciation for bringing people together around the wines of the Great Southern, hosts will receive a complimentary Great Southern Sip Host Appreciation Credit based on guest numbers attending:

4–5 guests receive a $40 credit
6–8 guests receive a $75 credit
9–10 guests receive a $120 credit
11–12 guests receive a $160 credit

This virtual credit may be redeemed online toward future wine purchases, curated collections and upcoming tasting experiences through Great Southern Sip - a small thank you for helping share the wines, stories and spirit of the Great Southern - One Sip at a Time.
