Regular Sip Masterclass | Wines of Place
Exploring the landscapes, vineyards and stories that define the Great Southern
Every great wine begins with a place.
Wines of Place is a guided masterclass exploring the relationship between vineyard site and wine style throughout the Great Southern.
Through a carefully curated tasting of at least eight wines, we examine how climate, geology, aspect, elevation and proximity to the Southern Ocean influence the character of wines produced across the region.
Together we will compare wines from Albany, Denmark, Frankland River, Mount Barker and Porongurup, uncovering the subtle and sometimes dramatic differences that make each sub-region unique.
Designed for wine enthusiasts, collectors, industry professionals and WSET students, this interactive tasting encourages discussion, comparison and critical assessment while building a deeper understanding of one of Australia's most diverse wine regions.
